Recently at Six Ticks we have found ourselves staring out of the window, daydreaming of warm luxurious days meandering down the canals of the South of France, with a glass of wine in hand. The reason for this? We've had the pleasure of creating a new website for the magnificent luxury vessel Barge Saraphina!

Over the space of a decade Finnegan and Emily restored and welcomed guests onto the beautiful historic barge, offering unique luxury holidays along the Canal du Midi in the South of France. The barge is quite simply majestic, offering the ultimate luxury vacation.

A website fit for a Queen!

But with a barge fit for a Queen, Finn and Emily realised Barge Saraphina deserved a website to match and showcase the vessel in all her glory. Their existing site had become static and outdated and they wanted a site which would reflect the ethos of their business and be easy for customers to navigate.

That's where Six Ticks came in!

Six Ticks may not be experts in boat restoration or piloting a vessel, but we are experts at providing amazing websites! After close consultation with Finnegan and Emily, we swiftly began work on a custom made, beautiful website which aimed to reflect Barge Saraphina's class and beauty.

And it was a match made in heaven! Whilst we took care of the boring techie stuff, Finnegan and Emily could focus on their passion of running Barge Saraphina. On seeing the final website they were: "Over the moon." - not an easy feat for a water-bound vessel!

So, as Barge Saraphina takes to the water for many new adventures, we look forward to hosting and supporting the website from our slightly less exotic Shrewsbury office, where we will keep on dreaming of a luxury life on the high seas!
