Life for web developers Six Ticks’ is never boring.

One week we’ll be in London talking about tree cutting, the next we’ll be chatting with a professional wrestler about updates to his Six Ticks website (true stories).

We love working on diverse and interesting projects, and our latest one is hands down our wackiest to date!

This month, we’ve been developing an interactive voting page for the first ever Shrewsbury Wacky Races. The brand new event will see over 40 teams battle it out on 24th May 2019 at the Shrewsbury Quarry to see who has the fastest and best looking soapbox in Shropshire.

Six Ticks has developed the interactive voting page to enable wacky fans to join in the fun. On the one page voting site you can view the teams (there are some amazing soapbox designs), search by number, and vote for your favourite team. You’ll also be able to view the voting results to see if your team is in the running to finish the day at the top of the podium.

But don’t spend all your time online! Make sure you go along to cheer on the racers – it’ll be a super fun day out for the whole family. And of course, whilst you’re there don’t forget to vote for your favourite team by visiting Vote Wacky (the website will open for voting on the day of the event).
