SEO: What Does it Stand for Anyway?
Seriously Exciting Opportunity!! Well! Actually, yes, it is - but that’s not what it stands for!
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) makes it easier for Search Engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo to “read” your website. If they like your site more, your site appears higher in the search results! If it appears higher in the results, more people will see your pages, without the need for you to spend a lot of money paying for it to appear at the top of the search results.
Should My Business Consider SEO?
The answer is yes!
SEO involves making sure a web site is accessible, technically sound, uses words that people type into the search engines, and provides an excellent User Experience, with useful and high quality, well crafted, knowledgeable content.
Search Engine Optimisation is vital for your business – regardless of its size, turnover, product or service. Investing in a well thought out, effectively written and correctly designed site is imperative.
It is all about the Click, and if the site is not well ranked, it will not appear in the top search results and your Click rate will be low. That’s why good web design infrastructure is vital, as well as ensuring the site has rich content.
Why is SEO Important?
SEO largely means optimising a website and content to improve the accessibility, relevance and experience for users.
Search Engines (E.g. Google) place their emphasis on leveraging sites that demonstrate their expertise, authority and trust.
Are You Worried About Your Website’s Performance?
- Does our site generate enough leads or sales?
- Why do our competitors get more business than us?
- Are enough people finding our site on Google?
- How is our main competitor getting more traffic than us without spending money on ads?
