This week, we are delighted to share some great news - Six Ticks’ Sales Director Steff Henson has been shortlisted for a LinkedIn ‘Real Faces of Sales’ Awards 2019, under the ‘Insightful Seller’ award category.
The internationally recognised award aims to change the image of salespeople and acknowledge a “new era” of sales, where relationships and helping customers to solve problems is celebrated over the outdated view of dishonest, pushy sales staff. Four winners will be chosen from four different global regions, with a total of 16 super sales people taking awards home.
Steff was delighted to be shortlisted, commenting:
“It is fantastic to see LinkedIn changing the image of sales with this award, and even better to have been personally nominated as an ‘Insightful Seller’ this year.
“One of Six Ticks’ founding principles or ‘ticks’ is honesty, and we pride ourselves on using custom tech to help customers solve their own individual challenges, rather than forcing a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solutions onto clients just to get a quick sale.
“We know that every business has individual processes and goals, and mindless selling isn’t going to help them to maximise these. We want to use our tech to help businesses become more efficient and grow, and build long-term relationships with them.
“In the sometimes overwhelming world of tech, we know that our expertise and advice can really help to change a business and I take that responsibility very seriously, ensuring we scope and advise the best possible solutions for our clients - and this certainly isn’t always about selling them our highest end product. Sometimes it might be recommending a completely different product altogether.”
Watch this space to see how Steff gets on in the final judging. The winner will be announced on 4th July 2019 at the LinkedIn Real Face of Sales Awards in London.
