What is the event?
Put in motion in 2001, The Shropshire Chambers of Commerce’s annual business awards are back to being an in person event after a 2 year hiatus. These awards showcase and celebrate the important work companies across the country have accomplished in the past year. The event is believed to be one of if not the biggest of its type in the country and this year is expected to be its biggest and best experience yet with hundreds of tickets already sold.
Six Ticks have been nominated!
We here at Six Ticks are excited to announce we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Innovation award category, being recognised as a company who has thought outside of the box to fill a gap in the market. We would like to think as a company we are incredibly innovative, so much so that innovation is stated as one of our six founding ideas (Find out more about our six philosophies in the about us section). We understand that IT is not everyone's forte and have worked with customers for about a decade to create affordable solutions regardless of the company size. We simply do not believe there can be a one-size-fits-all approach to IT problems and use our love of technology, passion for new exciting ideas and extensive knowledge with Web Design, Intranets and Web Based Solutions to tailor-make solutions for unique and distinct problems.
We would like to offer our best wishes and wish good luck to the other Nominees for this category Aico, Oakland Farm Eggs and Yarrington.
In addition to this fantastic news, our very own Sales and Operations Director Stephanie Henson has been nominated for the Young Business Person of the Year 2022 for demonstrating flair, commitment and an entrepreneurial spirit. Here’s what she had to say:
“It’s really rewarding to see Six Ticks shortlisted again. We were shortlisted in 2019 and unfortunately didn’t get the win so our fingers and toes will be crossed on the night this year. The team show innovation on a daily basis, it’s ingrained in our culture of continuous improvement and ‘how can we do this better’ so it’s great to see us being recognised for that”
