Ahhh. Spring is on the horizon, the daffodils are starting to bloom, the days are getting longer. It can only mean one thing... it's awards season!

The BAFTA's have come and gone, the Oscar's are around the corner, but here in Shropshire it's time to get ready for the big event, 'The Businesses for Children Awards'.

Here at Six Ticks we spend our days developing websites and providing brilliant digital support to companies in Shropshire and beyond. But we are also a keen member of the local business community, and in 2018 we're proud to be a sponsor of the special ceremony.

The event takes place on 10 March at the Park Inn Telford, and will recognise Shropshire businesses which educate, support, or provide activities for children in the region. BBC Shropshire film critic and editor of the Shropshire Business magazine Carl Jones will present the ceremony.

We'll be walking down the red carpet to join some amazing local businesses for a fun night of celebration.
