The Swan at Hay is a beautiful four-star Georgian hotel, located in Hay-on-Wye, close to the border of Wales and England and on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

This stunning property has undergone a spectacular refurbishment, and with such wonderful improvements being made, how could they not have a website gives the visitor love at first click?

It was important that the website had seamless online bookings for the hotel and restaurant, and gift card purchases. One of the key goals was to capture the wonderful location and reach enthusiastic walkers - with so many fantastic hikes in the area, the nearby town of Hay-on-Wye is a well deserved base for many walking enthusiasts. The hotel also offers events packages and a good ‘pub-grub’ feel about it, as well as boasting an idyllic location for weddings and celebrations alike.

Following research, we found a high percentage of visitors to the site were looking for online food menus, and we saw this as an opportunity for The Swan at Hay to capture new customers through this section of their website. We advised them to keep branding consistent across different mediums of marketing, for example, keeping the website in-line with their business cards, leaflets, brochures, and of course, their yummy menus.

Since launching the brand new website the hotel and restaurant has already seen an increasing number of visitors and enquiries, which The Swan at Hay can regularly track and report.
